Commonwealth
of
Drakenheim
is
located
in
the
US
state
of
South
Carolina.
The Commonwealth of Drakenheim is a nation which was formed as an expression of its founders' beliefs in individual sovereignty, cooperative living, and peaceful solutions to all potential conflicts.
It was established by private fiat on 29 February 1976, and has operated continuously since then. On 6 August 2010, it was registered with the Micronational Professional Registry (MPR), and also became a member of the United Micronations Multi-Oceanic Archipelago (UMMOA), as well as a part of the Fifth World Community (5WC). It is affiliated with the other members of the Sovereign Nations Oasis (SNO) as a member in equal standing.
The Commonwealth of Drakenheim was originally jointly governed by The Honorable Dave Drake I and The Honorable Bea Vincit, from its foundation on 29 February 2009 until the death of The Honorable Dave Drake I on 6 March 2009. It is currently still governed by the remaining original founder, The Honorable Bea Vincit.
There is currently a three-member Advisory Committee that discusses all major matters pertaining to the Commonwealth, and makes recommendations to the Governor. The three regular members of the Advisory Committee are currently: The Honorable Daniel Vincit; The Honorable Johnathan Vincit; and The Honorable Jenna Vincit. The three members of the committee, as well as the Governor, each have full ambassador status for the Commonwealth. The Honorable Dave Vincit of the nearby Commonwealth of Drakesburg — also a member of the SNO — serves as an honorary member of the Advisory Committee on an occasional basis.
